THE TINY TOY OR TEA CUP VARIETY CAN BE SO SMALL THAT THEIR EYES DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT ROOM IN THEIR HEAD CAVITIES. THE BULGING OUT OF EYES AND THEIR DIRECTIONAL PLACEMENT IN THE SKULL ARE ALSO NOT DEEMED HARMFUL TO THE PUP. The traditional search for just the right baby has people visiting a number of Breeders, holding pups or kittens and making a decision in person. However, that tradition is helping to spread diseases. Parvovirus, is the number one threat to the life of young puppies! Many viruses can be deadly & are on the rise. Disease can be carried on clothes, shoes, hands, etc. and then spread from animal to animal by touching and petting. Most breeders do not care as long as the animal gets sold! Our pups & kittens are limited from outside contact, and are NOT available for viewing by the public. NO babies will be shown until they are ready to go strait into their new forever home. My puppies & kittens are raised in my home. I must be VERY careful about viruses! I can not have people coming & going all the time. This helps insure you a healthy baby & me healthy adults. Elliotthaus has learned the hard way that allowing visitors is far from smart! We have lost both pups & kittens in the distant past from both theft & disease. All this may sound silly to some, but we do have the odd person who thinks that we are still the babies owner & want us to pay for the animals care after it is gone. They will not except the responsability for their new pets welfare. It is not always easy to tell if our babies will go to a responsable owner. We can only do our best to give you a happy & healthy baby, but as with any living thing problems can arise. SO IF YOU WANT A PET, JUST AS A CHILD, YOU MUST TAKE THE RESPONSABILITY FOR THE HEALTH & CARE OF THAT PET! Pet health insurance is HIGHLY recommended. It may seem high to some... but... the vet costs of ONE serious illness or injury can be more than the insurance fee's for the ENTIRE LIFE OF YOUR PET! It also gives you piece of mind should any problem ever arise at any time during the life of your pet. Some breeders will tell you that when full grown, your pup will be tiny. These breeders know full well that most of you should love your puppy no matter what size it gets.
